Dear friends of animated film,
we would like to draw your attention to the animago AWARD 2015 – international renowned competition in the fields of animation and visual effects and our partner project in this year again.
DIGITAL PRODUCTION, German trade magazine in the entire spectrum of digital media productions, invites all Digital Artists around the world to register online at www.animago.com/en for the 2015 contest. The registration deadline for submissions is June 30, 2015.
More than 1,000 submissions in 2014, which were sent in from 67 different countries – what a great recognition. The animago AWARD has indeed now firmly established itself as a major name across the entire globe. Last year, the animago once again reflected a fantastic range of themes that showcased not only the inspiring creativity of the artists but also their outstanding technical performance and skills in subjects of 3d animation & still, visual effects and visualization. Participation is free of charge and worthwhile for both professionals and newcomers. Individuals who send in their productions are not just subjecting their work to the vote of the independent jury; they are also taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase their abilities within the industry. The ceremonial animago AWARD gala on October 15, 2015 at the Potsdam-Babelsberg Media City is the climax of the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE. Within two days of lectures from e.g. Pixar, ILM, The Mill, Framestore, RISE | Visual Effects Studios, Pixomondo or MPC (in 2014) the entries of the animago AWARD competitors will be shown to a highly qualified audience. The Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) - 23rd edition April 26 - May 1, 2016 - was founded in 1982 and is one of the largest and most important festivals for animated film worldwide. It works in close co-operation with the FMX, Europe’s biggest Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia, attracting industry professionals. Together with the FMX the ITFS holds the business platform Animation Production Day.
